Water supply contamination in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India, causes typhoid fever outbreak

Polluted water leaking from sewerage lines into damaged water supply pipes has contaminated the water supply in Bikaner. As a result, 8 to 10 people with typhoid fever are being seen daily in the local hospital.
