Wave of new violence in Central African Republic

Bangui, Central African Republic, has experienced a wave of violence recently. At least two people were shot and killed today by Burundian peacekeepers in a clash with protesters in the capital. This was the second day of violent protests after deadly attacks on churches, one attack on a Christian church and also an attack on a Muslim mosque.

Many countries advise their citizens to avoid all travel to this country.
