Waves of sectarian violence continue in Iraq (update)

Shootings, car bombs and suicide bombers in single and coordinated multiple attacks have caused waves of injuries and deaths in the civilian population across Iraq. Travellers are advised to use extreme caution and, if travelling to Iraq can not be postponed, avoid all public markets, cafes, mosques, and other public gathering places that might be targets for extremists.
