Advice For Travellers

The beginning of cooler temperatures in northern areas will result in less mosquito activities and an even lower risk of exposure for the general traveller. Since there is no vaccine or treatment for West Nile fever, travellers to areas where this virus is still active can reduce their risk of exposure even further by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
