West Nile fever cases reported in Volgograd region

There are reports of 63 cases of West Nile fever in the Volgograd region. The affected areas include Dzerzhinsky, Traktorozavodskogo, Soviet, Voroshilov, Central, Krasnooktyabrskiy, Krasnoarmeyskiy, the Kirov district of Volgograd, as well as Gorodishchenskoye area.

Travellers to areas where the West Nile Fever virus has been found can reduce their risk of exposure to this virus by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
