West Nile Fever - infected mosquitoes and more human cases reported

Cases of West Nile fever and infected mosquitoes have been found in the following places in the USA:

Colorado (Delta, Larimer and Weld counties); Pennsylvania (Upper Macungie, Schuylkill County, Berks County); Missouri (St. Louis County, North County, Adams County, Bel-Ridge, Normandy, Olivette, Jennings, and Lemay); California (El Dorado County); Illinois (Wilmette);

A human case has been confirmed in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Travellers to areas where the West Nile virus has been found can reduce their risk of exposure to the West Nile Fever virus by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
