Wildfire in California forces large scale evacuation

Hot weather and drought conditions have contributed to difficulties controlling a major wildfire in Southern California. The fire, named Blue Cut, has destroyed dozens of houses and forced the evacuation of more than 80,000 people from their homes. The fire is located in the mountainous Cajon Mountain Pass, near a highway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
