Wildfire spreads to 5,000 acres near Lake Berryessa, California

The Wragg Fire near California's Lake Berryessa has grown to 5,000 acres. The Quail Ridge and Golden Bear communities have mandatory evacuation orders. Canyon Creek and Lake Solano Campgrounds have been evacuated. Hikers in the Cold Canyon area have been evacuated.

The Red Cross has opened an Evacuation Center at the Winters Community Center, 201 Railroad Ave, Winters, CA. A large animal evacuation center has opened at 29775 County Road 31, Winters, CA.

Smoke from the fire is reaching the Sacramento area. Officials are recommending that those with respiratory ailments stay indoors.

There is a road closure at Hwy 128 and Wragg Canyon to through traffic.
