Wildfires in Oregon

About 160 wildfires have been reported in Oregon. In and around Moro, Grass Valley, and The Dalles in Sherman County, the fire is threatening 600 homes as well as major transmission lines that supply power to the states of Oregon and California, multiple substations, routes, and recreational areas. About 200 people have been evacuated. In Pickett Creek, Pleasant Creek, Wimer, and other subdivisions around Merlin communities in Josephine County, fires have been burning for several days causing 300 people to be evacuated.
