Wildfires rage in Southern California

In Carlsbad, California, fires erupted yesterday, which spread quickly due to high temperatures and high winds. About 15,000 businesses and homes were directed to evacuate. The Legoland Amusement Park in the area is closed. Fires also broke out in San Marcos and on the Camp Pendleton Marine Base north of San Diego, causing the evacuation of military housing and a naval weapons station.
