Yellow fever epidemic declared in Democratic Republic of the Congo

Health authorities have declared a yellow fever epidemic in the city of Kinshasa and 3 provinces including the proinces of Kinshasa, Kongo Central and Kwango.

The number of people infected with the yellow fever virus is increasing quickly. All travellers to this country should be vaccinated against yellow fever at least 10 days prior to arrival.
