Youth dies in anti-Indian protests in Kashmir, India

A 15 year old boy was killed during anti-Indian protests in Kashmir when police opened fire on a protesters in the western village of Nabal. The demonstrations led to clashes between protesters and police after a prominent Kashmiri separatist leader was arrested. On Saturday, shops, businesses and public transportation shut down for a strike by separatists challenging India's sovereignty in Kashmir. Today was the second day in a row that Kashmir police used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse hundreds of demonstrators who hurled rocks and chanted anti-Indian and pro-Pakistan slogans.
