Train Fire Kills 46 in Pakistan
At least 70 people have been killed and 30 injured when gas cylinders exploded on the Tezgam Express train destroying three carriages. The Tezgam Express runs between the cities of Karachi and Rawalpindi and was crossing through Punjab Province.

Although gas cylinders are banned on trains, rules are rarely enforced. Passengers sometimes bring stoves onto trains for cooking during long trips. Residual train delays are expected.
