Flooding Crisis in Kinshasa - DR Congo
As of 7 April, the death toll from severe flooding in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, has risen to 33. Heavy rainfall since last week caused the Ndjili River to overflow, flooding homes, cutting off access to over half of the city, and damaging major roads, including the main route to the airport.
