St Patrick's Day Celebrations - Ireland, UK
From 15 to 18 March, the St Patrick’s Festival will be held in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Celebratory parades and festivities will be held across the region.
In Dublin, the parade will begin at 12:00 hours (local time) on 17 March near the Hugh Lane Gallery on Parnell Square North. It will move through O’Connell Street and River Liffey before ending at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
In Belfast, the SPAR Craic 10K event will start from City Hall at 09:00 hours and end at Ormeau Park. The St Patrick’s Day parade will begin from City Hall at 13:30 hours and follow a circular route, via Chichester Street, Victoria Street, High Street, Castle Place and Donegall Place, before heading back to City Hall.
In London, the parade will begin at Hyde Park at 12:00 hours, move through Piccadilly, Piccadilly Circus, Regent Street St James’s, Cockspur Street, Trafalgar Square and end at Whitehall.
Additional trains may run to facilitate access. Road closures and restrictions may be in place across the cities. There may be several other related events and parades across Ireland and the Untied Kingdom.
