Asbestos Contamination in Sydney - Australia

On 16 February, cordons remained in place in several parks across Sydney after multiple sites were contaminated with mulch containing asbestos. Following this, many schools and parks were closed and the Mardi Gras party was cancelled. Close to 100 sites are yet to be tested. Several weeks may be required to complete the tests.
