Typhoon TAPAH en route to Taiwan, Japan, China and South Korea

Typhoon TAPAH is expected to reach Taiwan in the next 24 hours en route to Japan, China, South Korea and possibly North Korea and the Russian Federation in the next few days. Winds are currently estimated at 90-100 km/hr. Storm warnings have been posted for Okinawa, Cheju, Pusan, Saga, Nagasaki, Mokpo, Fukuoka, Taegu, Kumamoto, Ch’ungju, Kunsan, Kagoshima, Matsue, Hiroshima, Aomori, Akita, Asahikawa, Sapporo, Kushiro, Sakata, Kanazawa, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Wenling, Seoul, Obama, Tokushima and Miyako.
