Staff Shortage Triggers Flight Cancellations - India

As of 8 May, Air India Express cancelled over 80 flights across India due to a severe staff shortage. Bengaluru, Kochi and Kozhikode (Calicut) are the most impacted cities. It is suspected that the shortage is due to a strike over poor management by the airline. Cancellations may continue over the following days.
