Major forest fire in Västmanland County, Sweden

A major forest fire is burning in Västmanland County, near the town of Norberg, Sweden. Tourists should follow the advice of local authorities before travelling in this area.

The largest fire in more than 40 years is still out of control but is no longer spreading. The blaze is engulfing an area of about 15,000 hectares in Västmanland, about 140 kilometers northwest of Stockholm.
