Stringent, New Regulations for Tourists - Bali, Indonesia

As on 08 April, the Provincial government of Bali has tightened regulations for foreign tourists visiting the island. Some key rules include dressing modestly - especially while visiting sacred sites, tourist attractions, public spaces, or engaging in activities around the island; to behave respectfully at temples, tourist destinations, restaurants, shopping areas, roadways, and other public areas; stay in officially licensed accommodations and to respect specific rules at each tourist attraction. Further restrictions ban the use of vulgar language, disrespectful behavior, and conducting business or working without proper permits.

More detailed information on the regulations can be found here.
