Another typhoid fever outbreak in Fiji

At least 24 cases of typhoid fever have been reported in Bua since January 1st.Travellers to any area where there are cases of typhoid fever can reduce their risk of exposure by being cautious and avoiding consuming food or water that is contaminated. Vaccination against typhoid fever should be considered, especially if unsafe food or water cannot be avoided.
