Update: Court Order Rejected, Protests to Take Place - Colombo, Sri Lanka

The Magistrate’s Court in Colombo rejected the police’s request to issue an order restraining the protestors from entering the vicinity of the President’s House in Colombo Fort for the protests planned on 8 and 9 July. Police are authorized to take necessary action in the event of any unlawful activity.
