Foreign ministry officials have called on their citizens to avoid travelling to Israel, Iran and other high-risk locations in the Middle East as tensions continue to escalate.
Advice
Due to ongoing clashes between Israel and Hezbollah, as well as the conflict between Israel and Palestine, travellers are advised to avoid all travel to Israel and Lebanon.
Taiwanese who encounter problems in the region may contact Taiwan representative offices in Israel, Jordan, Dubai, or Taiwan’s trade center in Iran. The foreign ministry also maintains an emergency hotline for Taiwanese who encounter trouble overseas, which can be reached at +886 800 085 095.
