Japan Opens For Tourism From June 10 - Update

On 2 June, the Japanese government unveiled three lists, namely red, yellow and blue, which determine the entry requirements for travellers. The blue list is considered low-risk and includes 98 countries such as the USA, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Australia, ASEAN member states, etc. Travellers arriving from the blue-list of countries are exempt from the on-arrival tests and quarantine requirements.

Advice

Travellers must note that currently international flights are operating from Haneda, Narita, Kansai, Chubu and Fukuoka airports with Naha and New Chitose airports set to restart by June end. Travellers must also adhere to government guidelines such as wearing masks. For further details on entry requirements, please visit https://www.covidchecker.com/en/
