Test certificates issued outside of Burkina Faso will be accepted if they are issued in English or French. Rapid diagnostic tests and antibody tests are not accepted.

Anyone arriving in or departing from Burkina Faso must have a negative COVID-19 test certificate issued within the last five days of their arrival or departure date. Travellers without the certificate will undergo a COVID-19 test at their own expense and quarantine until their test results are available.

Anyone having any symptoms of COVID-19, or who has tested positive for COVID-19, will be assigned to 14-days quarantine at home or a hotel. Health screening will also be done during the quarantine period.
