Nationwide Demonstrations in Malawi, August 6, 2019

Nationwide demonstrations are planned for Tuesday, August 6, calling for the resignation of the Malawi Electoral Commission chairperson due to alleged election irregularities. The U.S. Embassy in Malawi reports that demonstrations are expected along Presidential Way toward State House.
