Heavy rains flood several areas of Manila, Philippines

Heavy rains caused flooding today with waist-deep water blocking some roads and disrupting transportation. Areas affected are reported to be A. Bonifacio Avenue in Quezon City, blocking vehicles coming from the North Luzon Expressway, España Avenue, Abad Santos, Maceda and Antipolo streets and other areas in Quezon City including Araneta Avenue, Balintawak, Biak na Bato along Quezon Avenue and Centris mall area under the Metro Rail Transit.
