Retaliatory Attacks on Lebanon & Syria - Israel

On 10 October, missiles were launched toward northern Israel from Lebanon and Syria. The Palestinian Hamas and Lebanese Hezbollah groups claimed responsibility for the attacks. In retaliation, Israel launched air strikes on militant posts in Lebanon and Syria. Israel claimed that several militants were killed in the cross-border clashes.

Further escalation between Lebanon, Syria and Israel may be possible.
