Special Transportation for Kumbh Mela Pilgrims - India

Additional transportation will be provided for pilgrims to reach Allahabad (Prayagraj) during Kumbh Mela. From January 15 to March 31, Air India will operate special flights connecting Allahabad (Prayagraj) with Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata. The Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has also been asked to run 500 special buses from various parts of the state to Allahabad during the pilgrimage from January 15 to March 4.

Kumbh Mela is a mass Hindu pilgrimage of faith where Hindus bathe in the holy river. Pilgrims should check the schedules of additionally available transportation if needed.
