State of Emergency Imposed in Luxor, Egypt

From November 11 to 17, more than one million Christians and Muslims will gather in Luxor to commemorate the birth of Saint George of Lydda and the building of the first the Saint George Church in Lydda of Palestine. To ensure safety and security, the authorities of Luxor have imposed a state of emergency in the city.
