Another Major Bank Robbery in Cameta, Brazil

A day after the major bank robbery in the city of Criciuma, another bank robbery has occurred in the city of Cameta on the other side of the country. In a similar attack, about 20 heavily armed men robbed a branch of the state-run Bank of Brazil while another group attacked the military police station to prevent them from responding to the bank robbery. One hostage was killed. Witnesses stated that the attackers drove around the city shooting at police and at houses.

Today’s attack was similar to yesterday’s attack in Criciuma in southern Santa Catarina state.
