State of Emergency in St. Catherine and St. James Parishes, Jamaica - Update

The state of emergency in the parish of St James, including Montego Bay, has been extended until 2 August 2018. The state of emergency in St. Catherine North State, focused on Spanish Town, Linstead, and Bog Walk has been extended until 3 July 2018.

Security operations are ongoing and could occur with little or no advance warning. Travellers who go into these areas should expect to encounter increased police and military presence, checkpoints, and searches of persons and vehicles. There could be road closures, and changes to the operating hours of some businesses.
