További információkSafety and security alert for "Southern Claw" of Haiti
The U.S. Department of State has posted an update on the safety and security situation in Haiti. Travel to areas south of Haiti (the “southern claw”) is dangerous. Since Hurricane Mathew, roads and bridges are damaged. Landslides have made some roads impassable. The widespread damage to infrastructure has caused communication problems, power outages shortages of food, water, and fuel.
The security and safety situation is unstable. Some relief groups and other vehicles have been robbed at roadblocks. Mobs have overwhelmed distribution points.
