Food poisoning in Antisirabe, Madagascar

Health authorities have reported a large outbreak of food-borne intoxication (food poisoning) among a group attending a local Lutheran church event. Approximately 190 persons were hospitalized. It is suspected that the vegetables consumed at the event were prepared using spoiled/contaminated cooking oil.
