Firefighters' strike affects Air Tahiti flights in French Polynesia

Firefighters in French Polynesia have been on strike four days, causing disruption to Air Tahiti flights. Air Tahiti can only guarantee services between Tahiti, Raiatea, Bora Bora and Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. All other destinations are cut off. International flights to and from Tahiti have mostly been maintained but with altered flight schedules.
