At least 87 killed in bomb blast in Oslo and shooting on youth camp on Utoya Island.

At least 80 people have been killed in a shooting spree after a gunman dressed in a police uniform opened fire on a youth camp of the ruling Labour Party on Utoya Island.

The shooting occurred two hours after a bomb blast hit central Oslo near a government building housing the prime minister’s office, causing massive damage in the area. The blast has killed at least 7 people and injured many others.

There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks, however, a Norwegian man with links to right-wing extremism is being held by police in connection with both the shooting and the bombing.
