USA Issues Travel Advisory for Nigeria

The United States has issued a travel advisory for the visitors travelling in/to Nigeria. According to the advisory, travellers should avoid the states of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, and Yobe due to the threat of terrorism and kidnapping. In addition, the coastal areas of the states of Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross Rivers, Delta, and Rivers (except Port Harcourt) should be avoided due to crime, civil unrest, kidnapping, and maritime crime.
