Second day of riots in Swedish suburbs of Husby and Fittja

In the Stockholm suburb of Husby, around 200 people set cars on fire, smashed windows and threw rocks at police in the second day of rioting. Seven police officers have been injured. Also in Fittja, people set cars and containers on fire.

Travellers should avoid these areas until tensions subside. Always avoid public gatherings and demonstrations as the situation can become violent without warning.
