Clashes between Criminal Gangs Likely - Bogotá, Colombia

On 27 February, the Ombudsman’s Office issued an alert for possible territorial clashes between Clan del Golfo and the Tren de Aragua in Bogotá. The armed groups have been fighting for control in nine towns of the city: Los Mártires, Santa Fe, Puente Aranda, La Candelaria, Antonio Nariño, Tunjuelito, Chapinero, Teusaquillo and Barrios Unidos.
