Armed conflict in Gaza and southern Israel

The Palestinian Al-Quds Brigade, claimed responsibility for firing dozens of missiles from the occupied Gaza Strip across to southern Israel. Israeli fighter jets retaliated and hit three areas, Rafah, Khan Younis and Jabalia, which reportedly are locations of launch sites or Jihad training camps.

Many countries warn citizens to avoid all travel to Gaza Strip, its coast and surrounding areas in southern Israel, due to the unpredictable security situation and the possibility of military operations in that area.
