Dangerous smog and smoke in Singapore and Malaysia - Update

In Malasia, at least 200 schools are closed and open burning is banned in some areas. In Singapore the air pollution reading surged to 371 for about three hours until subsiding to what is still a record-breaking level of 253. The smog is expected to last for some days due to wind and weather conditions.

Travellers should stay indoors as much as possible and avoid outdoor physical activity and exercise.
