Pinotepa de Don Luis, Oaxaca State

Health authorities have reported 146 probable cases of dengue fever, 21 of which have been confirmed by laboratory tests as having uncomplicated dengue fever while 7 have the serious complication called dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF).

Veracruz State

Health authorities have reported 64 cases of dengue fever, most of whom are located in the northern area of the state.

Travellers to these areas should be aware of the risk of exposure to dengue fever virus and take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
