Dengue fever season begins early in Cambodia

Health authorities are reporting dengue fever outbreaks in 4 of the country’s 24 provinces. There has been an increase in the number of reported dengue complications (Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever). Authorities are cautioning that the dengue season this year may be more severe than usual.

Travellers to Cambodia should be aware of the risk of exposure to dengue fever and take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
