Planned Water Outages in Pretoria - South Africa

From 29 May to 2 June, water supply disruptions will occur in parts of Pretoria due to maintenance work at Rand Water’s Mapleton and Palmiet Booster Pumping Stations. Affected areas include Gastonbury Reservoir, Six Fountains Estate, and Silver Willows, Klapperkop Reservoir, Hatherley Meter, Koedoesnek HL Reservoir, Midas and Leander Meters, Mooikloof Reservoir, Sammy Marks Museum Meter, Savannah, Shere Meter, Woodlands Mall Meter, Mamelodi R3 Reservoir and Mamelodi R4 Reservoir. Following the repair works, water supply and pressure may take another 3-5 days to restore to normal.

Expect and prepare for disruptions caused by interrupted water supply. Travellers are advised to follow the instructions of local authorities. While travelling, carry extra drinking water to avoid inconvenience. It is recommended to boil water for 3 minutes before consumption.
