EU Airports Tighten Rules for Carry-on Baggage

Due to new European Union rules, starting 1 September, only liquid containers of up to 100 ml are allowed in hand luggage at all European airports. Travellers will also have to repack liquids in a transparent plastic bag with a maximum volume of 1 litre. Medicines and liquid baby food are excluded from the new rules.

Advice

Check with your airline to determine if your travel plans have been impacted. Allow extra time at the airport to check luggage and pass through security.
