Fresh outbreak of typhoid fever sickens 660 people in Harare, Zimbabwe

Health officials have reported that more than 660 people were treated for typhoid in Zimbabwe’s capital. Seventy cases remain hospitalized. No deaths have been reported. The outbreak was caused by contaminated food sold by street vendors in western Harare.
