M6.8 earthquake off coast of Papua New Guinea

A 6.8 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of Papua New Guinea today about 116 kilometres from Bougainville Island. Two aftershocks occurred measuring 5.2 and 5.0. There are no reports of damage at this time. No major tsunami warning issued.
