Major measles outbreak in Guinea

On February 8th, the Ministry of Health declared an outbreak of measles after more than 2,100 children were infected with measles since January. Seventeen health prefectures have been infected. The most affected prefecture is N’Zérékoré, in the southeastern forest region, with 675 cases reported between January 1 and March 8.
