Malaria cases reported in Cuba (unofficial information)

There are unconfirmed reports of 30 cases of malaria in the municipality of Cabaiguán. Although these reports have not been confirmed by health authorities, travellers to this region can reduce any possible risk of exposure to malaria by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites. These measures will also reduce any risk of exposure to dengue fever as well.
