Possible Tube strike in London, February 5-8, 2017

London’s underground service will be affected by a possible three days of tube strikes from Sunday, February 5, at 18:00 to Wednesday, February 8, at 11:00. At present, the schedule is as follows:

Sunday, February 5: 20:00: stations closing.

Monday February 6: 05:30: No Tube service; 07:00: very limited Tube service; 16:00 Stations reopening.

Tuesday, February: 05:30: Normal service; 12:00: very limited Tube service; 20:00: Tube services closing.

Wednesday, February 8: 05:30: No Tube service; 07:00 very limited Tube service; 08:00 limited tube service.

Advice

If strikes are not averted by negotiations, the work stoppages will cause a major travel disruption. For safety reasons, many stations, particularly those stations in zone 1, will not open or may close with short notice.

Buses are expected to be very crowded. Road travel may take longer than usual. Drive in central London only if it is essential. If driving, please use the north and south circular roads and/or the M25.
